Position Summary

The Hardscape Installation Specialist is responsible for constructing patios, retaining walls, walkways, outdoor kitchens, and other permanent landscape structures with precision, safety, and durability in mind. This role ensures all hardscape projects meet client expectations and LuxLand’s high standards.

Essential Job Functions

• Read site plans and execute detailed hardscape layouts
• Install pavers, bricks, concrete, stone, edging, and other hardscape materials
• Excavate and grade areas using hand and power tools
• Mix and pour concrete; operate saws, compactors, and other heavy tools
• Maintain job site cleanliness and ensure safety protocols are followed

Supervisory Controls

This role reports to the company Owner or Project Supervisor. Work is evaluated based on craftsmanship, accuracy, and adherence to timeline and budget.

Working Conditions

Outdoor work in all weather conditions. Requires lifting 50+ lbs regularly and operating machinery and power tools. May include early morning hours and extended shifts.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ year experience in hardscape installation or masonry
• Proficiency with measuring tools, saws, levels, and layout equipment
• Reliable transportation to project locations

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of drainage systems, concrete finishing, or landscape design
• OSHA 10 or other safety certifications

Certificates & Licenses

None required. Relevant certifications in construction or landscaping are a plus.
