Position Summary

The Field Operations Crew is responsible for the daily execution of landscape maintenance and enhancement services. This includes mowing, trimming, planting, cleanups, and other hands-on fieldwork required to uphold the LuxLand standard of outdoor excellence. Crew members work directly under site supervisors and follow direction to ensure quality results and safe, efficient performance.

Essential Job Functions

• Operate landscape tools and equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and edgers
• Assist with installation of sod, mulch, plants, gravel, and other materials
• Perform scheduled cleanups, trimming, and bed maintenance
• Follow instructions from supervisors and team leads
• Comply with safety procedures and use appropriate PPE

Supervisory Controls

This position reports to the Site Supervisor and receives daily task assignments and oversight. Work is reviewed through performance checks and site inspections.

Working Conditions

Work is performed outdoors in various weather conditions. Requires standing, walking, lifting, bending, and use of landscape machinery. May involve early hours and long days, especially during peak seasons.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in landscaping or groundskeeping
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Certificates & Licenses

No formal certifications required, but OSHA 10 or relevant equipment certifications are beneficial.

Conditions of Employment

Position may require overtime, weekend work, or travel between job sites. LuxLand LLC may hire without background checks at its discretion where legally permitted.
