Position Summary

The Estimator / Sales Associate is responsible for developing accurate project estimates, presenting proposals to potential clients, and helping to convert leads into long-term business. This role requires strong communication, a working knowledge of landscape services, and a consultative approach to sales.

Essential Job Functions

• Conduct client consultations and site visits to gather project requirements
• Create detailed estimates and proposals using company templates or software
• Maintain follow-ups with prospects and communicate timelines and pricing
• Assist with contract execution and handoff to project managers
• Help maintain CRM data and track leads through the sales pipeline

Supervisory Controls

This role reports to the company Owner or Chief Financial Officer. Performance is evaluated on lead conversion, customer satisfaction, and proposal accuracy.

Working Conditions

This is a client-facing and office/field hybrid role. Travel within assigned region required. Must be comfortable walking properties, measuring job sites, and presenting outdoors when needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ year of experience in customer service, landscaping, or sales
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Strong verbal and written communication

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in landscaping sales or construction estimating
• Familiarity with CRM tools or quoting software
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Certificates & Licenses

Valid Driver’s License required. Sales-related or landscape industry training preferred but not required.
